Finished this cartoon for my next 2-block carving.  My style is shifting slightly, but staying basically the same.  Evolving and maturing a little bit as i think about my process and physical ability to carve detailed blocks as I near 50.  Here is a poem that may accompany this with some letterpress.

Cow-field scramble,

Shadows creep across the grass,

Late summer magic.
