Howdy :)
I was just taking a look at a bunch of your prints and noted on one that you were going to work on a color block print.
I was curious about how the color would effect the piece (East Hardwick Pond) and looked a a bunch of other pieces where you had the color and non-color version.
Its interesting to note that the color versions seem to be more distracting, and at first I thought it diminished the overall effectiveness.
Were they originally intended to be BW in general?
After looking at it a bit more though I found it interesting how the color emphasized certain elements more than the BW version did.
Still prefer the BW prints in general, but I am curious about the effect of color.
Do you have a sequence of the same block where you use differing colors to see what is highlighted?
It changes the tone quite a bit :)
