I spent the weekend with my family in Madison, NH at Pea's Porridge Pond.  It was a beautiful weekend and I attempted to sketch this little tree on a lonely peninsula while in a canoe.  The wind kept spinning me around but in the end this is a nice little sketch.

Tree Study,
Pea’s porridge pond,
Fish flap around me eating bugs.

The distant sound of cars is always present.

Scraggly little tree,
Early fall color everywhere.
