This is one of five proofs of old printmaking blocks that I plan to re-print with my poetry for a small art book edition. It may take awhile as each block seen here will have 2-3 color blocks as part of the printing process. The title of this print is in flux as the original title of "Dream I" does not seem to apply anymore. We shall see.

All four of these prints are printed on the horizontal orientation of the printing bed for an art book edition. A vertical block like this one will be printed with the poem on the same page while the horizontal blocks will be printed with just a title. If there is a poem to go with them it will be printed on a separate page.

This old print is interesting as the style is a little different from the more recent work. As I looked at the block before printing I thought of thinning the heavy line of the clouds but I enjoy the effect now that I have a recent print.

Here is as an example of the second set of proofs pulled with the other type that came with my Line-O-Scribe sign machine. The old script is interesting but there is not nearly as many letters as I have with the other style of type. I had to creatively rearrange my poem as I did not have enough of certain letters. Originally I wanted to make the title with some lower case letters but I did not have enough l's and y's to make it work.
