This cartoon for a block-print is a reversal of the sketch I did this past weekend. The image just took root in my mind and I have a vision of the 2nd block color having some clouds in the sky. It is hard to say as these things evolve a little as I carve the blocks.

Finished this edition of 50 prints earlier this month. I was going through some old prints this summer and found a monotype of this image and it called out to me to be put on this small piece of linoleum.

25 block prints hand sewn together

This is a terrible photograph but this is the most complicated print construction I have attempted to date. All 25 prints lined up beautifully and I quilted the back.
