I am an interdisciplinary artist and printmaker, living in Vermont since 1994. Inspired by the natural landscape I use imagination and memory to look beyond realism to make a statement about the pastoral landscape tradition in the 21st century. Color Block Design
February, 2014
Copy and hi-lighter pen
3.75"
It has been a busy week and I hope to transfer this design to a block of linoleum by the end of the week as I want to start carving. I think this will make for a nice two-color print and am starting to get really excited about this "Portal" series I have started.

Portal Drawing IV
February 4, 2014
Pen and white-out
3.75"
This sketch is after the painter A. Wyant and was of the Comet of 1882. The image spoke to me and I adjusted the rectangular composition as a circle and enjoy the amount of marks. It will be a challenge to carve the key block, but the color block will be mostly printing surface.
