Monadnock View

Went out on a boat ride with my father-in-law looking for a view of Mt. Monadnock. Took us a little while and we had to venture into a swampy area but eventually the mountain popped into view. The wind knocked us around a little but I managed to jot this down and am pleased with the effort.

There is something about VT at the end of the summer. The light at the end of the day bathes everything in this gold color. Letting you know that fall and winter are just around the corner.

Made some sketches last week while chaperoning a 7th grade class trip to Hosmer Point. This is the second sketch I made, the first was in pencil and my scan did not come out at all. Not well enough to post anyway.
